![]() Wedding season is here! Whether you’re the bride-to-be, the MOH (Maid of Honor) or a bridesmaid, a daily pre-wedding beauty routine must be developed before the big day. There will be a lot of picture moments before and after the wedding, so it’s important to keep your face and your skin glowing at all times! Here are five pre-wedding beauty tips for all brides-to-be, maid of honors and bridesmaids: Get a smooth face and protect your skin
To keep your face smooth and protected before the wedding, use SeneDerm Daytime Moisturizer. It contains SenePlex Complex, vitamin E, Jojoba oil and even has an equivalent SPF 15 (natural botanicals, not chemicals)! This product will provide you a way to bind moisture your face throughout your bridal days. You can also use SeneGence Polishing Exfoliator, the facial scrub that gently removes dirt & oil, exfoliates dead skin and polishes by buffing to a luminous sheen. It has Volcanic Sand & Safflower Seed Oil. Follow it up with SeneDerm Day or Evening Moisturizer to hydrate your skin. SeneGence BodyScrub to exfoliate dry elbows, knees & heels and get rid of dead skin. Follow up with Shea Butter Body Butter, rich with emollients that will give immediate relief to dry, or itchy skin and it will diminish visible signs of aging. It can aid in reducing scars too! You can even wrap your elbows, and feet in a cloth and keep the moisturizer on for one hour, in order to moisturize it longer. Whiten your teeth If you want the picture-perfect smile, you should start whitening your teeth as soon as possible. Avoid drinking sodas, coffee, tea and red wine! If you’re a coffee or tea addict, use a straw to avoid staining your pearly whites. American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry recommends eating raw veggies such as carrots and celery. They also recommend to rub strawberries or lemons to teeth, to help remove surface stains and help whiten teeth naturally. Get a facial or host a spa day Another great way to keep your face smooth is to have a monthly facial at home or at a salon. According to experts at Bridal Guide magazine, every bride should do a series of monthly facials beginning as early as six month before the wedding. Another option is to host a facial/spa day at home for the bride or the bridesmaids! This is a great way to relax with loved ones, and even talk about bachelorette plans! Check out my other blog, “Have a Spa Day at Home with SeneGence Products.” It has several products listed that you’ll need for a spa day, such as Detoxifying & Moisturizing Mask. Moisturize your hands and schedule a manicure To keep your nails and hands in top condition, use SeneGence NailExtend to strengthen your nails and SeneDerm Hand Cream with Shea Butter to keep your hands moisturize. Be sure to also schedule a weekly manicure or even bi-weekly pedicures. It’s very important to keep those nails, toes and hands primed – especially if you’re the bride. Everyone is going to want to see your ring! Schedule a makeup test run Every bride, maid of honor and bridesmaid should do a makeup and hairdo test run a week or two prior to the wedding. Be sure to book this ahead as salons are typically busy this time of year. Also, don’t forget to take a picture to see how you look on camera with your "trial run" makeup! Most brides tend to not put enough makeup on, and their face looks washed out with the white of her dress and all of the color around her. Make sure you wear the all-day, non-drying, kissable lipstick called LipSense so you can kiss your new husband at the Altar, and kiss all of your well-wishers too!
